In this learning module you have had a chance to explore some of the challenges that leaders face today when trying to not only pursue profitability, but to also lead in a way that is socially responsible and produces the desired social impact. Clearly this is an important objective today because in many cases customers, clients, and brand observers are keenly aware of the importance of social impact on society and on the businesses who have taken the time to dedicate themselves to these observances. For this discussion, describe some of the challenges associated with leading an organization that is desirous of creating an appropriate social impact.
